Seattle Windstorm

Much of the west coast was hammered by a sizable, pacific storm last night and Seattle was no exception. Though the winds and rain weren't quite as bad in the urban areas of downtown, 150,000 people were estimated to have lost power. Some property damage was reported in surrounding areas. Even with a strong wind advisory in effect I couldn't resist getting out to take a few photos and a time lapse of the clouds rolling in over the city. After about 6 hours of filming in the rain, wind and cold - I was ready to come home! As an added bonus, my excellent friend and virtuoso Andre Feriante gave me permission to use his wonderful song "Seduction and Illusion" which you can find on iTunes or at Andreferiante.com - I think it fits the amazing natural scenery, which was both powerful and amazing to watch.
