Once again, over 6.000 students (according to many Macedonia media outlets) in Skopje showed their dissatisfaction against the reform in higher education, ie the proposed State Exam.

The protest that began in front of the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" continued through the center of Skopje, passed by the Parliament and ended in front of the Macedonian Government.

Prominent were the messages "We are the power", "Now you will hear our voice," "Stop the bad reform", while getting support from the senior citizens who said they were proud of the youth.

Macedonian media has reported on several attempts where principals and teachers in the high schools did not allow high school students to go to a protest and support students in their intentions, because of the fact that these reforms are expected to come into force next year.

“We gathered today to realize our right to peaceful protest as a sign of revolt against poor education reforms. The purpose of this protest today, is the proposal for state exam to be withdrawn so we could finally talk about the positive reforms in the education”, said Anastasia Petrovska from the Student Plenum.
