Costco in New Jersey is offering gas at $2.27 / Gallon. Raceway just down the street from the Costco is offering it at $2.41 / Gallon. Part of this is due to low gas taxes in NJ. One piece of relevant trivia – NJ is one of only 2 states in the US that, by law, does not allow self service gas stations. The other state is Oregon. This is part of the NJ state Retail Gasoline Dispensing Safety Act.
