Freezing rain from Winter Storm Damon covered the woods around my house in beautiful ice! I love photographing wintry elements and this storm left me with plenty to work with. I wanted to take a close approach to the ice storm by using my macro lens to enhance the detail that forms in ice as it freezes. Giving a special view to the clinging ice as it froze to tree limbs, leaves and plants. Check out my photos to see the frozen beauties!
